Choose one primary conversion
Define the action the campaign is meant to support. It could be a completed purchase, a qualified form submission or another meaningful step. Distinguish that primary outcome from supporting signals such as clicks and video views.
Make sure the action can be measured consistently. If a form submission is counted differently in advertising and analytics tools, reports may not agree.
Plan the funnel
A funnel describes the journey from first exposure to the desired action. Some audiences need context before they are ready to respond; others may already be comparing options. Match the message, offer and destination to the audience’s stage.
The landing page should continue the promise made in the ad. A mismatch can create friction even when the campaign reaches relevant people.
Optimise with context
Review spend alongside lead quality, conversion rates, sales feedback and tracking health. A low cost per lead is not automatically valuable if the leads do not fit the business need.
Change one or a small number of factors at a time where practical, record what changed and allow enough data to assess the direction. Results vary with the offer, market, budget and execution.
